The invention relates to metallurgy of molybdenum rare powders by ammonium paramolybdate reduction using gaseous reducing agent. The process includes ammonium paramolybdate heating in hydrogen and nitrogen mixture atmosphere and then in hydrogen atmosphere. Heating in hydrogen and nitrogen mixture atmosphere is slowly performed up to temperature of 450-650°С with rate of 150-200°С per hour at hydrogen and nitrogen mixture ratio equal to (0,3-0,7):(0,7-0,3). Heating in hydrogen atmosphere is performed up to temperature of 750-900°С with ageing at mentioned temperature during 0,5-2,0 hours. The process provides sum reaching of finished material positive characteristics, such as purity, dispersion and homogeneity of breakup, bulk weight. These characteristics allow significant improving of finished product characteristics, such as micro- and optoelectronics devices.
