The invention relates to process for producing high purity titanium including titanium electrolytic refining in salt melt containing alkali metal and titanium chlorides while having titanium concentration no more than 0,5 mass.%, as well as cathode metal electron-beam melting. Summary: base metal titanium electrolytic refining is performed at anode current density of 0,03-0,05 A/cm2, initial cathode density of 0,2-0,4 A/cm2; and electron-beam melting is performed at electronic beam power of 0,5-0,8 kW/cm2, rate of 6-8 mm/min and residual gas pressure in active volume no more then 5·10-6 mm Hg.
