Technology of brazilite processing into high-purity zirconium chemical compounds
We are first to develop and realize method of brazilite hydrofluoric opening with high-purity zirconium compounds production from acid fluoride solution without its precleaning with simultaneous hydrofluoric acid regeneration.
The developed technology and facility are designed for high-purity zirconium compounds production such as tetrafluoride, disulphate, hydroxide and dioxide widely used in industry.
Majority impurities contents in zirconium compounds, % of mass.: Fe <0,002; Si <0,001; Al <0,002. Technological process by-product is ammonium sulphate solution which can be used as fertilizer.
