Up-to-date advanced technology based on the highest demands and developed by PJSC “Giredmet” provides significant reduce of investments during enterprise construction, and energy intensity.

Optimization of instrument and process diagrams and application of new up-to-date equipment allow significant reduce of amount of production units at basic process stages.

PJSC “Giredmet” develops complex advanced engineering systems for basic production process stages, such as units for synthesis of hydrogen chloride and thrichlorosilane, dust cleaning units, rectification units of various purposes, hydrogen reduction units and units for hydrogenation of silicon tetrachloride to thrichlorosilane.


Hydrogen reduction unit is used for producing polycrystalline silicon (from thrichlorosilane) of “solar” and “electronic” quality in the mode of gas-vapor recirculation returning unreacted base substances and reaction products to first stage of the process.

The unit is complex and automated, and consists of the following major parts, such as gas panel, evaporator, CVD-reactor, plasmatron, gas-vapor mixture cooling system at reactor exit and system of reactor cooling by hot water in recirculation mode.

The unit is used for producing thrichlorosilane from silicon tetrachloride released from hydrogen reduction units in the mode of gas-vapor recirculation returning unreacted base substances and reaction products to first stage of the process.

The unit is complex and automated, and consists of the following major parts, such as gas panel, evaporator, hydrogenation reactor, gas-vapor mixture cooling system at reactor exit and reactor cooling system.

Inside of the reactor, special coal-composite shield is located to reduce energy consumption level.

The unit is used for synthesis of thrichlorosilane by metallurgical silicon hydrochlorination method in reactor of aerated layer having water-cooled jacket.

The unit is complex and automated, and consists of thrichlorosilane synthesis reactor having base silicon charging system and reactor cooling system.

The reactor consists of separator, cylindrical and cone parts.

The unit is used for hydrogen chloride synthesis during chlorine combustion in hydrogen atmosphere.

The unit is complex and automated, and consists of hydrogen chloride synthesis reactor, receiver, system of heat-exchange apparatus for cooling gas-vapor mixture received from reactor.

Hydrogen chloride synthesis reactor is a vertical welded apparatus consisted of two cone shells having weld elliptic bottoms. Cone shells are connected by large foundations.

The unit works in operating mode totally on recycle hydrogen.
